child and exposing her to several men for commercial sex.
Lilian Chiwenga (27), would get payment from every man who forcibly became intimate with the girl.
She allegedly committed the offence on several occasions between June 12 to 18 this year.
Chiwenga last Friday appeared in court facing rape charges.
According to the law, anyone who assists or facilitates for the commission of rape should equally be charged with rape.
She was not asked to plead to the charges when she appeared before magistrate Mr Don Ndirowei.
She was granted free bail and is expected back in court on July 18.
Appearing for the State Ms Vallery Ngoma alleged that on June 12 this year, the girl went to Chiwenga’s house.
Chiwenga, it is alleged, took the unsuspecting girl to an unknown house.
The court heard that she tied her hands, covered her face with a red cloth before stuffing some papers into her mouth to prevent her from screaming.
It is the State’s case that different men who took turns to rape the girl would pay Chiwenga.
This happened for three days and Chiwenga, it is alleged, released the girl on June 15.
The court heard that after the release, the girl went to her sister’s house and did not disclose anything.
On the same day at around 8pm, the State says, Chiwenga went to the house and took the girl without anyone’s knowledge.
Using the same modus operandi, Chiwenga forced the girl to become intimate with different men.
She kept the girl for three days, it is alleged.
When she was finally released on June 18, it is alleged the girl rushed to the police station and made a report leading to Chiwenga’s arrest.
