A WOMAN claims her son intends to go to South Africa to get a gun so that he can kill her.
Juliet Kambarami says her son, Tafadzwa, has also threatened to petrol-bomb her house. She was granted a protection order at the Harare Civil Court yesterday.
“He threatens to petrol-bomb me in the house and says he wants to go back to South Africa and get a gun so that he can kill me.
‘’He assaulted me using fists and he broke all the house windows.
‘’I can no longer stay with him because he threatens me with a knife, gun and petrol bomb.”
The court heard that Tafadzwa used to live in South Africa with his sister but then decided to come back home.
Yesterday, he provided his defence against claims by his mother that he was trying to evict her from her house.
“The issue is the applicant comes and knocks at my door, saying I should look for employment.
‘’She is addicted to Coca Cola and consumes about five litres per day and, when I do not have money, she is angry with me.
‘’I looked for employment and got US$200, I bought groceries for US$70.”
