Woman stabs hubby during domestic dispute

A 40-year-old Hatcliffe man is battling for life after he was stabbed by his wife on Tuesday night.

Edward Pasipanodya was reportedly stabbed by his wife, Memory Makina, 35, during a domestic dispute.

Memory was arrested and detained at Borrowdale Police Station.

Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, said Edward was rushed to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals for treatment.

“Police arrested a Hatcliffe woman for stabbing her husband several times all over his body. The husband sustained serious injuries.

“We continue to urge people to seek counselling or engage Police Community Relations and Liaison Officers to help them solve their disputes,” said Insp Chakanza.

Memory is expected to appear in court today.
