.At least 1000 women from Africa are attending the Forbes Africa Woman Leading Women Summit being held here in celebration of the Women’s month.
These include the Democratic Republic of Congo Prime Minister Judith Suminwa Tulukwa and Ethiopia’s former President Her Excellency Safile-Work Zewde.
Women leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals and decision- makers are engaged in bold conversations, fresh perspectives and connections.
Discussions since morning are hinged on celebrating achievements by women across the continent in all sectors of the economy and acknowledging progress in transforming challenges into opportunities.

“Victory by women is victory for all. Every ceiling shattered becomes a doorway for someone else ” remarked MacDonalds South Africa chief executive officer Max Oliva.
“When women lead, organisations perform better. Women are truly rocks of resilience and strengths,” he said.
A number of women, some as young as 19 have been sharing their stories of resilience.

Others are extending tips on how women can rise above challenges to live their dreams.
This is the 11th Forbes Africa Woman Leading Women Summit.
This evening it will culminate in an awards ceremony.
