The women’s soccer league has been forced to take a two-week break as the majority of players will be representing their respective provinces at the Youth Games set for Masvingo.
The annual Youth Games are expected to get underway tomorrow and will run until August 24.
According to the women’s league secretary-general, Cecilia Gambe, the fixtures will only resume after the Youth Games.
“Most of our girls are taking part in the Youth Games so, as a result, we decided to put the Week Seven fixtures on hold, we will only resume with the games after two weeks.
“None of the fixtures have changed, we will just continue from Week Seven when we commence,” said Gambe.
