WOMEN from different sectors gathered in Harare for the Legacy and Wealth Breakfast meeting where a business leader and advocate for generational wealth building, Dr Grace Musandirire, was the guest speaker.
The event, held in Harare on Saturday, focused on empowering women to move beyond survival and begin building intentional, sustainable wealth for future generations.
Running under the theme, “Building Generational Wealth”, the breakfast meeting created a platform for dialogue, networking and practical financial insights.
In her address, Dr Musandirire emphasised that wealth creation is not a matter of luck but intentional planning, discipline and informed decision-making.
She encouraged women to position themselves as legacy builders by investing wisely, creating structured businesses and teaching financial literacy within their families.
She urged participants to take practical legal and structural steps to protect their wealth.
Dr Musandirire encouraged women to write wills, place their businesses and assets in trusts and intentionally involve their children in business matters from a tender age to prepare them for future leadership and continuity.
“Generational wealth is about building systems that outlive us,” she said.
“It is about creating opportunities, assets, and values that our children and grandchildren can benefit from.”
The gathering also encouraged collaboration among women entrepreneurs and professionals, highlighting the importance of mentorship, partnerships and networking.
Participants described the event as timely and inspiring, noting the need for more platforms that equip women with practical strategies for long-term financial stability and impact.
The Legacy and Wealth Breakfast forms part of ongoing efforts to promote economic empowerment and sustainable wealth creation among women in Zimbabwe.
