RISING gospel artiste and worship minister, Priscilla Tande, has blesse gospel music lovers with the release of her latest single, Hosanna, on Tuesday, (May 19).
The song, described as a deeply spiritual worship anthem, is expected to resonate strongly with audiences who appreciate intimate and spirit-filled worship music.
A member of the United Family International Church, Priscilla, affectionately known in gospel circles as “Minister Tande” continues to establish herself as one of Mutare’s emerging voices in gospel worship ministry.
Hosanna will become her fourth release, following previous offerings, Still My Love, His Name is Jesus and Amen, songs that have steadily earned her recognition among gospel music enthusiasts.
Over the years, Minister Tande has shared the stage with some of Zimbabwe’s celebrated gospel musicians, including Michael Mahendere and gospel music couple, Ellard Cherayi and Sharon Cherayi, during Mahendere’s Mutare Messiah Tour last year in August.
Introducing Priscilla to his followers in a Facebook post, Mahendere described her as “a powerhouse when it comes to worship.”
“This is Mutare’s very own and what a blessing she is,” he wrote.
Her growing influence within gospel music circles is also reflected in the admiration she continues to receive from fans.
One admirer, Portia Togara, described her as “a worship lioness,” while another follower, Vicky Mutsemi, commented: “She carries the glory of God… She is a blessing to us.”
Speaking ahead of the release, Priscilla expressed excitement over the upcoming single, saying she hopes the song will draw listeners into a deeper worship experience and closer encounter with God’s presence.
“Worship gives me peace, and through this ministry I want to share the peace of God with others,” she said.
With her previous releases having made a positive impression among gospel followers, expectations are high that Hosanna will further cement Minister Tande’s place among the promising voices in Zimbabwe’s gospel music landscape.
