SOUTH Africa-based author, Clinton Petersen, says he has penned 45 books in two years which are now available on the Amazon platform.
The 53-year-old, who doubles as a musician, said he still finds time for his family despite his demanding schedule.
Peterson, alias Thomas Anderson, said his dream was to break the records as a writer who has penned many books.
Some of his books available online which he singled out as best-sellers include ‘The Shadow of Inheritance’, ‘Captain Afreeca’, ‘The First Supper’, ‘Meta AI and I’, ‘What’s the Onion?’, ‘Glitch in the Matrix’, ‘The Game of Money: Rich vs Poor’, ‘African Meditations’, ‘Show Me Da Money’, ‘Goffal: Foggal’ among others.
Petersen, who has stayed in South Africa for years, said he has always enjoyed writing.
“I come from the coloured community in Sunningdale where I also stay when I am here. I think I am the record holder in Zimbabwe after writing 45 books in two years,” he said.
“Before that, I had written five other books and my tally stands at 50. I still want to write more books and set the trends,” he said.
Peterson, who has his kith and kin at heart, said he will not desert his roots.
“My dream is to write more books and make history. I was born an artist and in everything that I do I want to be outstanding. If you visit Amazon, you will read most of the books online.”
Petersen said he was still in touch with her relatives in the rural areas.
In 2016, Petersen’s two books – ‘Hello World and Skooled’ – got rave reviews in the South African publication, Germiston City News.
Petersen, who has a special interest in Artificial Intelligence, has vowed to cater for young kids through his literary works.
“My books tackle serious issues affecting us in our everyday day life. Some of the issues include AI (artificial intelligence),” he said.
“In my quest, I am simply chasing records as a writer. I will continue to write more books to break new records.
“I still have time for my family and friends even though writing books is in demand for other authors.”
