A 27-YEAR-OLD Kadoma-based writer and entrepreneur has come up with innovative skills to empower young people to achieve their dreams through art.
Makanaka Mavesere is the founder of Bringing Joy, Love and Life, an organisation that seeks to empower future leaders.
In an interview with H-Metro, Makanaka said:
“The organisation carries out initiatives, which include bringing love to women as a way of promoting the Zimbabwean women who are marginalised, bringing change under the Youth Council of Zimbabwe which is providing a hand as well as promoting young journalists.
“I would like to acknowledge the fact that I have been given an opportunity to showcase my art here in Harare under the Sustainable Development Goals exhibition and I feel honoured.”
