China and Algeria enjoy a deep traditional friendship, and have been good friends, good brothers and good partners since the two countries established diplomatic relations 55 years ago, Xi said in a congratulatory message.The two countries announced the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership in February, which showed the high level of China-Algeria ties and created broader prospects for the development of bilateral relations, Xi said.
“I attach great importance to the development of China-Algeria ties and am ready to make joint efforts with President Bouteflika to consolidate and advance the China-Algeria comprehensive strategic partnership and bring benefit to the two countries and two peoples,” Xi said.
