We guarantee they’ll LOVE your gifts!

The bucket hat

Before you get all eye roll-y, just hear us out: Bucket hats are back, and we shouldn’t be so mad about it. Yeah, sure, in the mid-2000s you only spotted them on Disneyland dads, babies on the beach, or, like, actual fisherman, but today everyone from Rihanna to Chris Brown to the entire A$AP Mob are wearing this ‘90s staple on a semi-regular basis and you can thank Run DMC, LL Cool J, and Aaliyah (RIP) for that.

Maybe it’s just us, but one of the life goals is to look like any of the celebrities.

Again when someone wears a bucket hat you can usually assume they’re an OG, an original gangster or an original Gilligan.

They’re either looking fly or fly fishing. LL Cool J, for example, made the felt Kangol hat cool and now Schoolboy Q and Earl Sweatshirt have followed suit.

Most importantly, bucket hats fit heads of all shapes and sizes and on the actual fashion front, Burberry just paraded brightly-coloured bucket hats down the Menswear Spring 2015 runway.

Stress-free easy

We would be surprised if you say that this holiday you have stress. What for, if I may ask?

Well, new bestie is the grumpy cat puppet, once written by Briezy. It can be used as a substitute for your negativity any time you’re in a horrible mood.

Nobody likes being around anyone who’s ornery, crotchety, and downright irritable. Simply put, it’s a surefire way to ostracise everyone within earshot. Unless, of course, you express your lousy attitude using this grumpy cat puppet as a replacement.

Apparently, people don’t mind when someone’s being grumpy, as long as that individual is a furry feline with an adorably sour face. Heck, some folks even find it cute.

The grumpy cat puppet is a fluffy hand puppet fashioned in the likeness of internet-famous Tardar Sauce, who won Buzzfeed’s Meme of the Year back in 2013. Complete with its drooping, apathetic eyes and upturned mouth, the puppet deftly recreates the utter lack of joy that defines one of the most memorable memes of the last couple of years. You’ll still have to supply the biting insults, nasty remarks, and generally sordid view on life, but the puppet will take care of providing the disdainful, unimpressed facial expressions all on its own.
