NERSBERT “Yabo” Saruchera is confident of leading Black Rhinos back into the domestic Premiership after returning to the “green grass of home.”
Rhinos, who were relegated on the final day of the season, will seek to bounce back into the top-flight league at the end of this season. In what promises to be a tough challenge, Rhinos will battle it out with the likes of Mwoos FC, Harare City and Black Mambas.
But, despite the stiff completion which the army side will face, Yabo is confident they will make it back to the Premiership after just one season.
“I am happy to be back and I have been missing the Black Rhinos family for a long time now.
“And, I feel that there is a big task ahead of us as you are aware that the team must make a return to the Premiership at the start of the 2025 season hence there is need for us to work very hard as team to realise our main objective this season in the Northern Region Division One,” said Saruchera.
They will seek to build a strong squad in a process that will include getting some of the best players from Black Rhinos’ sister clubs
“We are going to make sure that we assemble a very strong side and we will look elsewhere, especially at our sister clubs, and make sure that we assemble a very strong Black Rhinos team that will compete for promotion.
“I have been in Division One before and I know the terrain and I will do my best and deliver,” said Saruchera.
