Yadah plot to school Students

Yadah forward Jerry Chipangura is looking forward to adding more goals to his name when they face Herentals in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Chipangura grabbed a brace that inspired the Miracle Boys 3-1 win over Triangle last week.

Chipangura joined Yadah from Northern Region Division One side, Harare City during the midseason transfer window.

In nine games for the Miracle Boys, Chipangura has four goals to his name.

“I am expecting to score more goals and get three points as a team. We are in a position that we need to collect maximum points as a team. Our survival is hanging by the strings and we have to fight with all we have,” said Chipangura.

“But looking into all these, we are not even under pressure or giving ourselves pressure. We want three points for us to get out of the danger zone then we carry on from there.

“So we need to shift gears and get ourselves in the beast mode if we are to have maximum points.

“I scored a brace in the last game and it is a good feeling for every player to help with goals for the team especially considering I am a striker.

“We are urging each other as teammates to keep pushing ourselves beyond limits for us to survive relegation and to our fans we appeal them not to lose with the team as we promise them that we will give our best for the team,” he said.

Yadah are in position 14 with 30 points.

Three other teams are tied with Yadah on 30 points and only separated by goal difference
