Yadah training without a coach

YADAH FC have still not appointed a coach since the departure of Genesis Mangombe to join Dynamos.

Mangombe was appointed first assistant coach in the new Dynamos technical setup headed by Herbert Maruwa.

With the premiership scheduled to start next month, the Yadah executive still hasn’t unveiled a coach.

The Miracle Boys finished in 14th position with 37 points last season, just two points above relegated Harare City.

Yadah have also lost several key players, including workaholic Tanaka Shandirwa.

However, defender Lennox Mucheto, is expecting all his teammates to adjust to suit a new system that will be introduced by whoever comes in as the new coach.

“That’s how it is in football. Things change in a short space of time. As players, we need to adjust quickly to suit the new system a new coach comes with,” he said.

Mucheto said he is looking forward to a fruitful season. He believes the players should take every game seriously if they are to achieve their targets.

“Every game must be taken seriously and there should be no room for complacency. We have to give all we have for us to collect maximum points whether we are playing or away.

“We welcome the new players joining us, and this is a team in which they can showcase what they can do and prove their worth,” he said.
