Yaya to leave Man City

LONDON. — Yaya Toure will leave Manchester City this summer and talks with several top clubs have begun, his agent has revealed. Toure’s representative Dimitri Seluk has confirmed that the midfield powerhouse will call time on his Etihad stay after he failed to secure a new deal.

Toure, who has been at City since 2010, has a contract until the end of the 2016-17 campaign but is set to leave.

Seluk told The Sun: “From this moment we start to discuss with different clubs about Yaya going there in the summer. City don’t do anything concrete.

“Yaya has given everything for the club and we don’t feel that this situation is the right way to show how much they appreciate him.”

While a move to one of Europe’s top sides is more likely, Liverpool and Arsenal have both been linked with Toure in recent weeks. — The Daily Star.
