THE Young Turks, led by Nutty O, Voltz JT, Uncle Epaton, Kae Chaps, Boi Shona and ProBeatz, had a good time at the Wood Auditorium last Saturday.
Dubbed ‘Merciless Birthday Mayhem,’ the event was a celebration of the 33rd birthday of radio presenter Charlton Nyevera.
Boi Shona of the Honai fame opened the stage followed by Kae Chaps who had the crowd singing along to several of his songs.
Zim dancehall star, Uncle Epaton, upped the tempo and his hit song Bata had the crowd going wild.
Voltz JT and Nutty O put up fine performances making the gig a memorable event for those who attended.
Pro Beatz was the surprise act on the night.

Deejays, who alternated on the decks on the night, also delivered goods sets.
“I am out of words and I want to thank everyone who attended the event to celebrate with me.
“A full house full of happy people, what more could I ask for on my birthday.
“Many thanks go to Hatipfeke Junk and Wood for putting up a good show.
“The artists and deejays brought the house down and I cannot thank them enough.
“Let’s do it again next year,” said the birthday boy Merciless.
