EFFERVERCENT producer and keyboardist Olin Anderson will at the end of this month release a compilation album that carries some of the works he has done with gospel musicians in Mutare and beyond. In what could be described as a milestone for the youthful producer, who is also a videographer, artistes like gospel musicians Blessing Shumba, Rodgers Bepete, Voice of Praise, Blessing Pangira, Tafadzwa Gora, Obert Muponde and Itai Bvumbura will feature on the album.
Anderson is the founder of Kunashe Studios situated in the sprawling suburb of Chikanga and boasts more than five years in the music industry.
In an interview, he said he would also produce another compilation project that would feature artistes of other genres.
“The forthcoming project will feature only gospel songs from the gospel artistes whom I have recorded since five years ago.
“This is quite an achievement for me and the Anderson family and we are happy that my dreams are coming to fruition.
“The compilation album will carry new and old tracks from musicians under my stable or whom I have worked with in my career so far,” he said.
Anderson, a prolific keyboardist and co-producer of Blessing Shumba’s arguably most successful album Holy Psalms Volume One, paid tribute to fellow producers, musicians and critics for showing faith in him and moulding him become a consistent and professional producer.
“I am becoming a better artiste by each passing day, thanks to constructive criticism and advice I get from friends and partners in the industry,” said Anderson.
