THE Retrievers of Hope Youth Association and its affiliates yesterday backed President Mnangagwa’s efforts to turn around the country’s economy, urging young people to rally behind his vision.

Addressing a press conference yesterday RHYA president Mr Isaac Kugarahutsva called on all youths to actively participate in rebuilding the economy.

“We have gathered here to express our unequivocal support to His Excellency the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe and show our confidence and trust in his leadership as young Zimbabweans,” he said.

“We urge and call upon all our members to be vigilant and defend our Government and shun the abuse of social media to destabilise the country.”

He said youths should stay away from counterproductive individuals who have selfish agendas.

“We appeal to all young people regardless of gender, race and colour to be active and work towards the attainment of Vision 2030.”

He commended the President for implementing policies that are beneficial to young people.

“We rally behind the revolutionary party, Zanu-PF, which is leading the New Dispensation in restoring lost hope among people.

“We also salute the President’s efforts to promote youth participation in the socio-economic and political affairs of the country.

“As a result, we have witnessed a huge number of youths appointed to influential positions both in the party and Government.”
