ZANU-PF youths from Mazowe North last Friday embarked on a clean-up campaign to mark the 55th Africa Day anniversary. The youths, who were clad in party regalia, were led by Cdes Darlington Chasakara, Learnmore Chinoko, Ernet Mako, Chamunorwa Foki and Forichi Luka cleaned the streets of Mvurwi.

“Africa Day is a special day to us youths and in memory of this day we decided to embark on this clean-up campaign to express our love for the town, country and Africa as a whole. We identify ourselves with the principles of Africanism set in motion by Africa’s founding fathers.

“We have also chosen to wear our party regalia with the image of President Mnangagwa so that our leadership is reminded that there are youths who love the party and support them in every endeavour,” said Cde Sylvia Chari.

This year’s Africa Day celebrations were held under the theme “Winning the Fight Against Corruption: A Sustainable Path to Africa’s Transformation.”

The clean-up campaign had the support of Zanu-PF National Assembly candidate for Mazowe North Cde Campion Mugweni.
