DYNAMOS will face Zambia Super League side ZESCO United in the 1st Preliminary Round of the CAF Confederation Cup following a draw conducted Thursday afternoon.
The winner of the match will proceed to the second preliminary round for a date against the winner between Foresters FC of the Seychelles and Orapa FC of Botswana.
Dynamos are returning to continental club football after winning the 2023 Chibuku Super Cup although they had already secured the ticket by reaching the final as fellow finalists, Ngezi Platinum Stars had already taken up the Champions League slot.
The first legs of the first preliminary round will be on the weekend of August 16-18 with the return legs a week later. The first leg of the second preliminary round will be on September 13-15 while the return legs will be on September 20-22.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe champions Ngezi Platinum have been drawn against DRC side AS Maniema in the preliminary round of the 2024/25 CAF Champions League.
The winner will face Atlético Petróleos de Luanda, also known as Petro Atlético, in the next round.
