Kanku in the 10th round and declared himself ready for the ABU title.
“I am happy that I won this fight and my focus now is to challenge for the ABU title. It was a good fight but I knew how to beat my opponent,” Manyuchi was quoted as saying by the paper after the fight which was held at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe city on the Copperbelt Province on Saturday.
Manyuchi is expected to challenge for the ABU title against current holder Patrice Toke and his promoters were using the non-title fight to warm him up.
The Zambian boxer lived up to the expectation as he pulverized his Congolese counterpart from the first round, leaving him badly swollen lower lip and bloodied face, according to Times.
