Zimbabwe African National Congress (ZANC) Parliamentary candidate for Nkulumane constituency, held at Nketa High School, Adelaide Mhlanga has warned any political party that underestimates them that they are in for a rude awakening.
Addressing a crowd of its enthusiastic supporters, Mhlanga chronicled the remarkable growth of her party amid skepticism from both the public and rival political entities.
Mhlanga emphasized that despite being dismissed as a minor political force, ZANC has transformed into a significant contender on the political landscape of Zimbabwe.
“Under the leadership of our Party president Timothy Mncube, we have made great strides in ensuring the growth of the party across the country,” she declared, highlighting the resilience and determination of ZANC members.
During her speech, Mhlanga also gave gratitude to one Nkosilathi Ncube, a prominent supporter known for his instrumental role in providing transport and logistics for the party.
“Nkosilathi has been one of the key individuals supporting our vision. He embodies the principles we stand for and is now fast realizing the beliefs of our party.
“His journey started with him just providing his kombis to transport our party members to our rallies but now he is an integral part of our institution. He is one person who can boldly state the growth and vision of our party,” she stated, inviting him to join her on the podium to receive the recognition.
The rally served not only as a platform to rally support for the upcoming elections but also to showcase the unity and determination within ZANC.
Mhlanga’s words resonated with the crowd, reflecting a growing optimism about the party’s potential to influence change in Zimbabwe’s political arena.
As the election season approaches, the ZANC continues to forge ahead, proving that they are indeed a force to reckon with in the nation’s political discourse.
