Zanu-PF bigger than individuals, says Kazembe

ZANU-PF Mashonaland Central leadership has promised to deliver overwhelming votes to the ruling party in the forthcoming harmonised elections. Addressing a bumper crowd at a star rally at Chipadze Stadium last weekend, provincial chairman, Cde Kazembe Kazembe, said Zanu-PF was bigger than individuals and victory was certain for the party.

“This is the place where I was humiliated by the former First Lady (Mrs Grace Mugabe). However, I say this is all water under the bridge and we should focus on the future,” he said.

“But I am happy to inform you your Excellency, President Mnangagwa that the people of Mashonaland Central do not follow individuals, but follow the party. Already we have some councillors who won unopposed in some wards.”

Speaking at the same occasion, Politburo member and Minister of Lands, Agriculture and Rural Resettlement, Cde Perrance Shiri, urged party supporters to be wary of some independent candidates who were causing mayhem in the party.
