THE ruling Zanu-PF has called on its members to submit Curriculum Viteas for those interested in representing the party in the upcoming by-elections that are set to be held on 9 December.

President Mnangagwa last week proclaimed 9 December as the date for the by-elections and 7 November as the sitting day for the nomination court for the five by-elections that will take place in Bulawayo.

This follows the recall of the members by Citizens Coalition for Change interim secretary general, Mr Sengezo Tshabangu.

In a statement, Zanu-PF national commissar, Dr Mike Bimha said the CVs should be submitted by tomorrow.

“This letter serves to modify that there shall be by-elections on 9 December 2003 in the following constituencies; Cowdray Park, Bulawayo South, Lobengula-Magwegwe, Mpopoma-Mzilikazi and Nketa.

“The Nomination Court for the by-elections will sit on 7 November 2023. In view of the above, the Commissariat Department hereby instructs you to submit CVs for party members aspiring to contest in the primary elections to be held on 1 November 2023. The CVs for the aspiring candidates should be submitted to ZANU PF H.Q. by 26 October 2023,” reads the statement.
