Zanu-PF calls for youth empowerment meeting

Zanu-PF Harare Province will today convene an indigenisation and economic empowerment meeting to inform party youths on new strategies being adopted to develop the country. The meeting will be addressed by Youth Development, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment Minister Patrick Zhuwao.

In a statement, the party’s Harare provincial secretary for information and publicity, Cde Abicia Ushewokunze, said the meeting would be held at zanu-pf Headquarters at 2pm.

“We invite all members of the joint provincial council, district secretaries for indigenisation (all wings) and all youth district chairpersons to attend the meeting,” he said.

He said as the new Minister responsible for Youth Development, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment, Cde Zhuwao had come up with new robust strategies on the indigenisation drive.

“The newly appointed minister has come up with robust strategies and has brought a new dimension to the indigenisation, which is not just empowerment, but a thrust towards national development.

“During the meeting he will breakdown his new thrust and mission towards developmental issues that will benefit the youths and the nation at large,” he said.

He urged party members and district heads in the province to attend the meeting.
