ZANU PF has proclaimed 2025 a year of decisive achievement, citing broad economic progress and unbroken political dominance as the country transitions to a new national development strategy.

Addressing a Press conference in the capital yesterday, the ruling party’s secretary for Information and Publicity, Cde Christopher Mutsvangwa, outlined a series of successes attributable to the leadership of President Mnangagwa and unwavering party unity.

“The party has registered huge milestones in all sectors of the economy owing to the able leadership of President Mnangagwa,” said Cde Mutsvangwa. “Our robust deliberations at the Mutare conference are now actively shaping the nation’s future.”

On the economic front, Cde Mutsvangwa reported that the Government had stabilised the local currency, increased export earnings and grown foreign currency reserves.

He highlighted specific sectors, noting record-breaking gold deliveries alongside major production milestones in the recent wheat harvest and tobacco season.

Politically, ZANU-PF demonstrated its grassroots strength by winning every parliamentary by-election held across the country in 2025.

Cde Mutsvangwa described this clean sweep as a direct endorsement of the President’s policies and a reflection of a strong bond with the electorate.  “His marriage with the membership of the party is intact. This is a demonstration similar to his marriage with the electorate of Zimbabwe,” he said.
