Zanu-PF delegation to visit China

He said this when he and Zanu-PF spokesperson Cde Rugare Gumbo met a CPC delegation that is visiting the country.
“The fraternal relations date back to pre- and post-independence and this is demonstrated by a number of exchanges between our two parties and governments over a period of time,” Cde Khaya Moyo said.

“These exchanges include those of the top leadership of our two parties and various other delegations. We have had exchange of leadership at various levels in terms of party building and ideological orientation.”
Cde Khaya Moyo said there was need for the two parties to continue consolidating relations.

Cde Gumbo bemoaned the propaganda attack the country is being subjected to by Western countries.
He appealed to the delegation to assist Zanu-PF with equipment that can be used to counter the attack.
“The West is highly advanced in terms of technology and propaganda. We are too small to cope with the propaganda and after imposing the illegal sanctions on us they want the whole world to believe that we are a rogue state.

“We are most grateful to China for assistance in equipment to counter the Western propaganda.
“We appeal for more assistance because it’s difficult to cope with the propaganda they have unleashed on us,” Cde Gumbo said.

CPC head of delegation, Mr Cai Fuchao said China cherished the relations that existed between the two parties.
“We are satisfied with relations between our two parties and countries and we would want to see the relations continue.

“Visits between our parties are very significant and as China we believe no country has a right to interfere with internal politics in any country hence we vetoed some western countries’ attempt to impose sanctions on Zimbabwe,” Mr Fuchao said.
He pledged that China would help Zimbabwe in countering the propaganda.
