RULING party, Zanu-PF, is today holding primary elections to nominate a suitable candidate to represent the party in the forthcoming by-election for Insiza North National Assembly seat, which fell vacant following the death of Cde Farai Taruvinga.
Zanu-PF Matabeleland South provincial chairman, Cde Nqobizitha Mangaliso Ndlovu, recently announced candidates who are vying for the post and affirmed their readiness to win back the constituency.
Taruvinga died aged 53 at his family home in Hillside suburb, Bulawayo, after battling cancer.
The candidates are Cde Qhubani Moyo (Ward 22), Cde Clever Sibanda (Ward 20), Cde Delani Moyo (Ward 13), Cde Moses Langa (Ward 14), Cde Sifiso Mpofu (Ward 19), Cde Nkosana Mthunzi (Ward 19), Cde Ernest Ncube (Ward 17), Cde Davison Moyo (Ward 21), and Cde Lindelwe Ndlovu (Ward 14).
