THE late prominent academic and politician, Cde Kenneth Saruchera , who was a long-serving Zanu PF secretary for administration for Manicaland has been described as a steadfast hard worker who was committed to the development and progress of both the province and the party.
Cde Saruchera died yesterday.
Zanu PF Women’s League national secretary for Administration Cde Monica Mutsvangwa said Cde Saruchera’s death was a huge loss.
“Cde Saruchera was a dedicated patriot. He had the province at heart and worked hard as a successful businessman and academic. Cde Saruchera was also consistent and hardworking as a cadre in the party and discharged his duties well,” said Cde Mutsvangwa.
The party’s provincial chairman Cde Mike Madiro said losing Cde Saruchera was a blow to the ruling party.
Said Cde Madiro: “Cde Saruchera served Zanu PF very well. His absence as a colleague will be felt because he was key and played a pivotal in the party’s processes at provincial level.”
