Zanu-PF Manicaland urged to unite

The party won six seats out of 26 contested in the province. Cde Kanzama condemned recent developments in the Youth League structures in Manicaland.
He said factionalism could destroy the party if allowed to go unchecked.

“Manicaland Province contributed significantly to the birth of the Global Political Agreement because of its dismal showing in the 2008 elections.

“We must not take that route again this time around so everyone must work towards promoting peace within the party and fight one enemy.”

“Those found trying to sow divisions within the party must be dealt with effectively.
“The matter was reiterated at the Gweru conference where it was agreed that all party members should desist from causing factionalism so this squabbling in the Youth League must stop immediately,” he said.
