ZANU PF Mashonaland East Province will on Monday next week come out in their numbers to demonstrate against the illegal economic sanctions imposed on Zimbabwe.

The revolutionary people’s party also said they are aware that the opposition party officials are the ones who went to the West and asked for the sanctions and they should go back and ask for their immediate removal.

Today, ZANU PF Mashonaland East Province held their Provincial Coordinating Committee meeting in Marondera where preparations for the annual party conference were discussed.

Presiding over the meeting, ZANU PF acting Chairman for Mashonaland East Province Cde Michael Madanha said as a province they know the effects of the sanctions and want them gone.

“We want those who went to the West to ask for sanctions to go back to those who imposed sanctions on us and ask them to remove them immediately.

“These sanctions are affecting everyone regardless of political affiliation.”
