Zanu-PF politburo meets

Harare Bureau
ZANU-PF’s politburo will meet tomorrow at the party’s headquarters in Harare to deliberate on issues which could not be divulged yesterday.  The party’s secretary for administration Cde Didymus Mutasa last night urged all politburo members to attend the meeting but could not give details of the agenda of the meeting. “All members of the politburo are advised that there is going to be a politburo meeting on Thursday 19 June at Zanu-PF headquarters,” he said.
Cde Mutasa said all members should be  seated by 9AM.

The last politburo meeting was held on June 4 and it discussed several issues of economic importance, including indigenisation and land reforms.
It met for almost five hours, adjourning at around 11PM.

The meeting sought to thrash out topical issues that have gripped national attention such as debate around proposals on strengthening and clarifying  the Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment Act.
Issues related to the media were also discussed in the meeting.
