as the party gears up for the forth coming harmonised elections, an official has said.
The party’s deputy provincial political commissar Cde Patrick Khoza said the party was looking at restructuring all its cells and urged supporters to register as voters.
He said the programme started this week and was expected to be complete before the end of the month.
Cde Khoza said they had mobilised enough resources to conduct the exercise. He said they had also set up teams to supervise the restructuring exercise.
He added that they held inter-district meetings across the province were the supporters were informed about the restructuring exercise.
“The main thrust of the programme is to have our supporters documented.
“Another target is to ensure that all the data regarding the membership is computerised which will help us to know our strength on the ground. In essence all our party members should belong to a cell and be registered voters. We are not taking any chances and I can assure you that Zanu-PF is poised for a resounding victory in this year’s elections,” said Cde Khoza.
He said the party wanted to increase the number of their supporters on the voters’ roll by a wide margin.
