The party’s national political commissar Cde Webster Shamu confirmed the development in an interview with the Herald on the sidelines of yesterday’s central committee meeting.
“We are going to judge the performance of our 10 provinces on the basis of how they carried out their restructuring exercises and verification of party structures.
“That is, where the restructuring exercise completed and were they done properly,” he said.
Cde Shamu said judges would also look into the state of the provinces’ registers and data on party members in all structures from the cell level to the provincial level.
Consideration would also be made on whether the provinces were implementing decision made by the party hierarchy.
The province that will scoop the first award will get US$6 000, runner up US$3 000, third placed US$1 000 while the fourth will be given the Zanu-PF constitution.
