The zanu-pf Youth League has launched a bi-monthly magazine to provide a platform for its members to interact and exchange knowledge.

The magazine called “The Icon” was launched last month.

zanu-pf national secretary for youth affairs Cde Pupurai Togarepi said the magazine, which was first published in December, would have its second edition coinciding with the 21st February Movement Celebration of President Mugabe’s 92nd birthday.

“Former Herald senior sub-editor Cde Kudakwashe Gwabanayi has been appointed the editor of “The Icon” and is already working on the second edition.

“The aim of the magazine is to inspire and motivate youths that are the icons of tomorrow.

“The magazine draws its spirit from the party’s iconic leader, Cde Mugabe,” he said in a statement.

The magazine is expected to inform youths on their projects in farming, retail and mining among other enterprises and activities being conducted by the youths.
