Financial services group, ZB Financial Holdings Limited (ZBFH) is set to build 708 houses in the border town of Plumtree.
The housing project is aimed at providing affordable housing to residents, with 366 houses earmarked for the high-density and 342 houses set for the medium density. The company has already secured land for the project.

The financial services group is working on a “Go big” venture and wants to play a major key role in infrastructure development, providing affordable housing solutions in the country.

Speaking during the launch of the project on Friday, Miss Nomathabile Dube, speaking on behalf of the company, said prospective home owners would be given mortgage finance.

“The mortgage is accessible for first time home owners. Repayment terms are up to 25 years subject to terms and conditions. We have set up a mortgage desk which is specifically meant for your mortgage requirements,” said Miss Dube.

ZBFH has partnered with local authorities to fund housing development in different towns.

“The partnership with Plumtree emerged from the relationship we have had with the area which has been banking with us for decades. Therefore this housing project will result in houses being constructed for low income earners,” she said.
