ZB Financial Holdings launched its one-stop service centre in Gweru on Saturday.

The centre is targeting investment and growth opportunities in the province.

The Minister of State for Midlands, Senator Larry Mavima, welcomed the development.

“There are vast opportunities for trade and investment and we need stakeholders such as ZB financial Holdings to exploit them.

“I’m sure all stakeholders here present, we are ready to engage with you and benefit from what you have to offer.

“I urge the ZBFH team to learn and find out what we need and give us the financial solutions that we want,” he said.

ZBFH group chief executive, Shepherd Fungura, said they were geared to meet the needs of their clients.

“As ZB, we are ready, able and prepared to play our part in ensuring the success of our economy and in particular the economy here in Gweru.

“This is why we are undergoing our transformation that has led to the opening of the Gweru Service Centre,” said Fungura.

He said the institution has the qualified personnel to transform the province financially.

“As ZB, we recognise the investment and growth opportunities in Gweru and the Midlands region, arising from the fact that it is the mineral hub of the country with significant mining and agricultural activity.

“We see the vibrant education sector and the downstream value chain arising from these key sub-sectors of the economy.

“We have the necessary skills and the commitment to provide customised financial solutions for your continued progress,” he said.

As part of their corporate social responsibility, the financial institution also donated groceries and cutlery to Jairos Jiri Association for Rehabilitation of the Disabled and Blind.

The cutlery has been top of the institution’s wish list.
