ZIMBABWE Cricket (ZC) has announced the gate charges for the highly anticipated two-match Test series between the Chevrons and South Africa, set to get underway on June 28 at Queens Sports Club.
Dubbed “The Battle of the Limpopo”, spectators will pay US$2 per day or US$7 for a full match ticket for the rest of the ground. Grandstand tickets are priced at US$5 per day or US$15 for the entire match.
The first Test will take place from June 28 to July 2 with the second scheduled for July 6 to 10.
This will be the first Test meeting between the Chevrons and the Proteas in eight years. Their last encounter was in 2017, a four-day match that lasted just two days and 907 balls.
To date, Zimbabwe and South Africa have faced each other nine times in Tests, with the Chevrons yet to register a victory. South Africa have won eight of the nine matches, drawing once at Queens Sports Club in 2001.
