THE Zimbabwe Chess Federation (ZCF) successfully hosted a Youth Cadet Championships which brought together players from diverse backgrounds.
ZCF president Toddy Mapingire described the tournament as a unifying championship that gave young players the chance to compete against their age peers at a very high level.
“This was a very big event.
‘‘It attracted 230 players on the day,” Mapingire said.
