ZENGEZA Primary School has appealed for furniture donations to enable it to accommodate all students.

The school was built in 1962 and its buildings are in a dilapidated state as they have never been refurbished.

Headmaster, Gibson Chizenge, made the appeal after receiving a donation of cement, books and pens from Jinjika Netball Club on Tuesday.

Chizenge highlighted that it is important for children to have access to good education, and a conducive learning environment, in order to secure a bright future.

“We want to produce future leaders who can contribute positively to the development of our country.

“But, without proper education and resources, this will be difficult to achieve.

“Most organisations look at adults when donating, forgetting the youth, who are the future.

“We hope Jinjika will continue helping us, considering the state of our school, in terms of infrastructure and material.”
