Zenzo Honoured At Paphos FC

ZENZO Moyo the former Highlanders hitman was on Friday honoured by Cypriot club Paphos.

He was paraded before the team’s fans at the club’s stadium.

After a brilliant run of form in 2000 in which he had scored 22 goals by July despite a three week break to attend trials, Moyo moved to Cyprus alongside Joel Luphahla who had just arrived from Zimbabwe Saints.

His tally was eclipsed by Mulenga Chewe at the last weekend of the campaign but Moyo had done enough to land the Soccer Star of the Year gong.

In Cyprus he is hailed as a club legend as he continued to score for fun for a then below mid table club.

But following a recent takeover by a Russian, Paphos are now a formidable force.
