ZETDC drags Crest Breeders to court

Herald Reporter
Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (Pvt) Ltd (ZETDC) has taken Crest Breeders (Pvt) to the Harare Civil Court for allegedly refusing to pay its electricity consumption bills amounting to about $5 000. Harare Civil Court magistrate Mr Brighton Pabwe deferred the matter to April 4 for trial. ZETDC is a supplier of electricity in Zimbabwe and is entitled at law to charge for its services.

It is alleged that the company supplied electricity to Crest Breeders.

Crest Breeders consumed the electricity under service number 1343123.

ZETDC raised its invoices for the electricity consumption and demanded payment from Crest Breeders.

It is the State’s case that despite repeated requests, Crest Breeders failed to settle the bill.
