Fun loving people are spoiled for choice this weekend as several events are lined across the country.FRIDAY
Zora star Leonard Zhakata launches his much-awaited album “Mutungadzose” at the Harare International Conference Centre tonight. The event will see top entertainers like Alick Macheso, Peter Moyo, Suluman Chimbetu and Tinashe Magacha performing. Zhakata said they have done their homework and they are waiting for the big day.
Jah Prayzah celebrates his birthday at Big Apple in the capital and will be supported by Ammara Brown.
The musician turned 29 on Monday and is expected to sample some of the songs from his coming album “Mudhara Vachauya”.
Saturday
Author Charles Mungoshi Jnr launches a Shona book titled “Madhiri Ecash” at Avon in Avondale. The author has five books in his name.
The fourth “Let Them” schools festival takes place at the Exhibition Park (Fun Park Area). The two-day fete will see several arts activities that include dance, music and poetry being conducted.
Top choral group Zimpraise will be hosting Hymns night at the Harare International Conference Centre.
Dendera musician Tryson Chimbetu performs at Legends Night in Marondera.
The musician is expected to sample songs from his coming album that will be released in August.
Award-winning promoter Daniel Masaiti has brought the musician to his place due to public demand.
“People have been asking me to bring the young musician to this place and we have fulfilled their wish. We will be hosting several musicians at this place,” he said.
Seh Calaz launches his album “Nguva Yangu” at Super Label Night Club in the capital. The young musician has promised fireworks at the event. “I have done my best to give music lovers the best and the album will do justice to dancehall lovers,” he said.

Zimbabwe Jazz Community presents Back to Jazzics at Chez Zandi Restaurant in the capital.
