Zhuwao (28) earned hero status from his first match scoring 107 run in a 50-over match which he crafted in his trademark Twenty20 explosive style.
He scored his ton from just 57 balls after hitting 10 sixes and adding to his boundary tally with seven fours.
In the same match he used his left arm-orthodox spin to get four wickets for 41 runs.
From four innings he has scored a total of 318 runs at an average of 106 runs at a strike rate of 191 percent – three half centuries and a century.
Some of his statistics include scoring 67 runs from 22 balls and 99 runs from 34 balls.
“I am loving the way things are going here. I am not holding back here, my job is to hit bowlers all over the place, it is the way I always play and the guys here are coming to terms with that.
“Things are not really much harder here it’s just the wickets are slower and softer and the ball tends to swing a lot more than in Africa so you need to be patient when batting,” said Zhuwao.
In domestic Twenty20 Zhuwao was branded the ‘Big Bully’ after launching a brutal onslaught on bowlers in the Stanbic Twenty20 series which gave him a national team call-up.
