Tripple B won the title with two rounds of matches to go.
League secretary Stanley Chapeta confirmed that the meeting will be held tomorrow and added it would chart the way forward ahead of next season among other items on the agenda.
“The end of season board meeting is going ahead. Generally, I think the season was successful compared to the two previous seasons because we did not have any disciplinary issues,” he said.
The season also saw Blanket Mine, Jessie Mine and Airstars falling by the wayside.
Zialanda was expelled from the league half way through the season after failing to fulfill three consecutive fixtures owing to serious financial problems which have become the league’s Achilles heel.
The league which has been riddled by controversy since its birth in 2010 was not short of drama after former Hardbody striker Aleck Marime signed for two rival Beitbridge sides — Tripple B and FC Strikers and subsequently Zifa did not register him.
On a sad note, relegated Airstars lost their assistant coach Latson Rusike in an accident about 60 kilometres from Beitbridge when their team bus was involved in an accident with another bus.
The team was on its way to Beitbridge to fulfill a league fixture against FC Strikers.
