THE Premier Soccer League chief executive Kenny Ndebele will this morning conduct a ZIFA Eastern Region Division One Soccer League club executives’ induction meeting aimed at preparing the teams for the top-flight league in Chisumbanje.
The league is not active this weekend and is set to resume next week where several fixtures are lined up.
Davison Muchena, the ZIFA Eastern Region chairman. said they are utilising the short break to convene a PSL induction meeting.
“We are entering the final week of our holiday break and we taking the opportunity to have all club affiliates officials a chance to have an induction training by the PSL chief executive.
“We are going to discuss quite a number of things chief amongst them life in the PSL and we are sure this will help us in many facets as well as our teams in preparing for life in the Premier League especially for the team which is going to be promoted.
“I am expecting all teams to send representatives as the seminar is of paramount importance in the running and development of our football.
“Knowledge is power, so the seminar won’t be crucial only for those who are gunning for promotion but everyone as they will receive crucial knowledge and experience which will be useful in the future,” said Muchena.
The region has Lloyd Mutasa-coached GreenFuel only needing a single point from four matches to gain promotion into the Premier Soccer League.
In the ZIFA Central Region Division One Soccer League the games will also be put on ice until next week when the teams play their last games of the season.
The league has Sheasham, who will face Loss Control, leading by three points ahead of TelOne who will face Vumbachikwe.
