Zifa Southern Region Division One clubs set deadline

CLUBS intending playing in the Zifa Southern Region Division One League this year, have up to Friday to pay their affiliation fees.
Those that do not play will forfeit their slots in the league.

Blessing Mbwanda, the spokesperson for the region said clubs had been given up to Friday to pay their dues or risking exclusion.
“We gave them up to Friday to pay up. We need to know early who is in and who is out. Being able to pay your fees early is an indication of who you are going forward. Others struggle with finances from start to finish,” said Mbwanda.
The Zifa Southern Region management will meet clubs on February 22 at the organisation’s annual general meeting.

A number of clubs have applied to play in the Zifa Southern Region and a decision will be made on that day if there are slots left behind by clubs that would have failed to pay.
