ZIMBABWE Football Association (Zifa) and the Sports Writers Association of Zimbabwe (Swaz) are set to hold a one-day workshop on Wednesday in Bulawayo.

A similar workshop was recently held in Harare, which was attended by several Northern Region-based journalists.

According to a communiqué sent to Southern Region-based journalists, key topics to be discussed at the workshop, taking place at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) Grounds Small Hall, include Zifa Structures and Organogram, Zifa Long Term Technical Development Plan, Commercial Play and Football Journalism, among others.

Members of Zifa’s top leadership, together with several local sports journalists, are expected to attend the event in the City of Kings and Queens.

Over the years, Swaz has been conducting nationwide workshops in partnership with the National AIDS Council (NAC) to help journalists demystify issues related to HIV/AIDS in the broader society and among sports personalities.
