Zifa to hold administrators’ course

THE Zifa Midlands Province will tomorrow hold a Level One Sports Administration Course at Bata Recreational Club in Gweru.
The three-day-workshop is being facilitated by the Sport and Recreation Commission (SRC).The co-ordinator of the course is Zifa board member responsible for development and training in the Midlands, Farayi Ngulube.

Ngulube said the course is open to club administrators as well as sports teachers.

“We are holding a Level One administrators’ course which is for beginners and this course is for officials who hold positions in clubs as well as teachers who are into sport,” Ngulube said.

Key aspects to be tackled include among others, the general organisation, strategic planning and event management. The fees for the course have been pegged at $50 which is inclusive of lunch, course material and certificates.
