ZIMBABWE has been named one of the world’s best countries to visit in 2025 by global travel platform Kayak, cementing its place as a top-tier destination for travellers seeking a balance of adventure and relaxation.
This prestigious recognition comes at an opportune time as the country prepares to host the highly anticipated Sanganai/Hlanganani World Tourism Expo 2025 in Mutare, which is starting today.
The event is expected to draw thousands of local and international tourism stakeholders, showcasing Zimbabwe’s full potential as a global travel destination.
The expo also aligns with the Government’s Vision 2030, which aims to promote Zimbabwe as a hub for sustainable tourism and development.
The ranking, courtesy of Kayak’s latest Travel Check-In report, highlights destinations that offer wellness escapes, city-hopping potential, and opportunities for slow, low-intensity travel.
Zimbabwe’s unique combination of wild beauty, rich history and diverse landscapes has placed it firmly on the global tourism map for those seeking unforgettable experiences.
